Humanities Overview

Humanities Program Overview : 10 hours weekly

Schedule:

Days: Mondays and Wednesdays

Time: 10 AM – 3 PM
Duration: 10 hours/week
Frequency: 3 weeks per month throughout the year (taking December off)
Start Date: Second week of September
Time Off: Typically the last week of each month. Yearly calendar provided shortly.

Class Levels: 

  • 1. Middle School / Beginning Junior High (Book list provided shortly)
  • 2. High School (Book list provided shortly)

Class Subjects Offered Monday and Wednesday:

  • History
  • Literature
  • Art / Aesthetics / Art History
  • Theology / C.S Lewis works

Cost: $100 weekly / $300 monthly

Friday Classes:

Art & Aesthetics Class : 2 hour class
Focus: Portfolio preparation and art competition projects
Time: 10 AM – 12 PM

Cost: $50 weekly / $150 monthly

Visual Storytelling Class : 2 hour class
Focus: Incorporating elements like theater props, script writing, background painting, puppetry, and more based on the Great Books and various artistic approaches.
Time: 1 PM – 3 PM

Cost: $50 weekly / $150 monthly
